Hugo Carvalho

Hugo Carvalho, aged 28, was born in Viseu and is, since January 2016, the President of the Portuguese National Youth Council (CNJ) and Secretary General of the Youth Forum of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (FJCPLP). He is also a member of the Economic and Social Council, of the National Council of Education and the Youth Delegate of Portugal to the United Nations.
He was a leader in the students’ association of his University, in the Academic Federation of Porto (FAP) and in the University Sports Academic Federation (FADU).
Mr. Carvalho holds a Master in Electronic and Computer Engineering by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto and currently works in the fields of innovation and technology.
